Do I Need to Book a Sunbed?
No. There is no booking system. Just walk in during gym opening hours and pay on arrival at reception. You do not need to be a gym member.
Tips for Using a Sunbed Sensibly
UV light from sunbeds, like the sun, can damage your skin, so it pays to be careful:
- You must be 18 or over. Sunbed use by under 18s is not allowed by law in England.
- Start short. If you have not tanned for a while, begin with a short session and build up slowly.
- Leave at least 48 hours between sessions so your skin can recover.
- Protect your eyes with suitable eyewear during every session.
- Do not use a sunbed if you burn easily, have very fair skin or lots of moles. If you take medication that makes your skin sensitive to light, check with your pharmacist first.
- Use a tanning lotion. We recommend an industry approved lotion, and we sell a range at reception.
